Why Muslim women should participate in politics

A former lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria and political scientist, Dr. Amina Salihu, has said that there is no excuse for Muslims women not to be involved in the mainstream politics of the nation, even when they play more difficult politics at home.

She was speaking on Thursday in Abuja at the 8th biennial National Conference and general meeting of the Criterion (an Association of Muslim Women in Business and the Professions) themed “Challenges of Globalization on Muslims”.
