Finally, the much anticipated movie, My Bet, which generated uncontrollable controversy when it first got uploaded online two months ago will be released into the market this week.



A film produced by Chima Ewurum will be distributed nationwide under the platform of Divine Touch Productions Limited.

Olisa Metuh Only Nurse for a Dying PDP - Senate Leader

Nigerian Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, has described the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as a party in coma and which has no doctor or pharmacist except Olisa Metuh who serves as nurse.

The Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal University of Dutse, Jigawa, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, said the council had shortlisted 11 professors out of the 24 who applied for the post of Vice-Chancellor of the institution.

Adedoja disclosed this on Sunday in Dutse while speaking with newsmen after inspecting ongoing projects in the university.

Corrupt, bribe-taking workers take over Abuja Electricity Distribution Company

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has allegedly been invaded by corrupt and bribe-taking workers that are making fast money in Kuje, one of the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory.



Investigations revealed that the field workers, most of who are half-literates, have embarked on disconnecting supplies to the houses whose occupants would not bribe them even if such consumers have been paying their electricity bills.
